In 1703, Cornish inventor Richard Trevethick showed how usage of a water pump, powered by steam, could reduce flooding in local tin mines. It was a machine using coal as fuel rather than animal or manpower and began a revolution in which coal, oil and natural gas became central to an industrial revolution. In current times, we have become heavily reliant on these resources, not only as fuel, but as essential components of synthetic materials too. As these crucial resources diminish, and where competition increases, it is clear how life across the World is about to significantly change and in very different ways according to locality. The FifeServe Project is about recognising these changes and how to apply practical answers to these changes in the Fife locality. It's about things that affect daily life and how we can make life better in Fife.

It's our number but don't expect an instantaneous reply. At most times of the day, we're working on various projects and avoid the habit of answering the telephone. Experience has taught us that many calls arise in call centres dedicated to sales campaigns we don't want. For that reason, we prefer messages left on our answering machine and are happy to call back to genuine enquiries. Please ensure you leave adequate contact information during your message to us. Typically, we'll call you back that same evenng! Alternatively, you can email us with your ideas and comments using the address at the bottom of every page. We look forward to hearing from you!
