Horoscopes

Although it's hardly proven as a science, horoscopes are read by millions of people across the globe each and every day. It's hard to believe how each twelfth of the population could possibly be experiencing similar events and circumstances at the same time! In the UK, the most read horoscopes are written by Jonathan Cainer and Russell Grant. Links to their respective web sites are presented below.

Rail Timetables

Since deregulation, and the swinging blind proposals by Beeching and Thatcher, rail transport has become more limited in terms of destinations and services. The rail network has become akin and competing with faster aerial links handled by multiple investors and contributors, and making overall planning of a long journey more complex than ever before. The link below has been chosen for inclusion on the basis of simpicity yet we freely admit better solutions may apply if there are time and cost considerations. In our examination, trying to book seats meeting our series of test proposals proved futile and infuriating. Where actually attained, at the price of £160, fares entered a realm of fantasy with cheaper options available to travellers.

Ferry Connections

Scotland is a small nation yet surrounded by a coastline exceeding two thousand miles. Sea lochs dig deep inland and present difficulties for overland transport unless bridges are present. Where wider gulfs exist, many people rely on transport by ferry with most of the longer distances being undertaken by Caledonian MacBrayne.

Bus Schedules

Since deregulation, Fife has largely been dominated by omnibus services offered by Stagecoach, and in a similar way expressed above, it has become harder to plan journeys or make accurate comparisons. The link below takes you to the main Stagecoach website. At present, there are no real serious competitors or regular operators in Fife and hence the singular entry in this section.
